Often it is difficult to find somewhere to get some rest at an airport. Even some airport lounges nowadays have less and less options for comfortable seating. However a recent visit to Helsinki airport shows how airports can be when they really focus on passenger experience.

This is a photo of some loungers available at Helsinki airport and you can find most of them in the non-schengen section of the airport terminal. They even have many of these in the gate boarding areas.

While there are quite a few, they are still limited. With Helsinki many flight connections are done late at night or early in the morning when the lounges are not open yet so if you feel tired and want someplace to rest, these are really good options and you should find them before the rest of the passengers on your flight do!
